Services

The freedom to choose

Our wide range of properties and team of skilled staff enables ECHC to offer differing levels of support depending on individual needs.

It is imperative to us that we provide an environment where residents enjoy the right level of support for them.

In time, our aim is that, as many of our service users as possible can move through our services to more independence with no loss of continuity of care yet still have access to support if they need it.

Not sure if we can help? Please just pick up the phone Tel 01625 500 166. You might be surprised and even if we can’t help, it’s more than likely we can put you in touch with someone who can.

Accessing our services

Our service users are referred to us from all over the country by Community Mental Health Teams, the NHS, Probation Forensic Services and private hospitals; we welcome referrals from any source as long as they have a care co-ordinator or consultant.

Visits to any of our accommodation can also be arranged – if you would like to see more, we’ll be happy to show you around.

Management and funding

As a company limited by guarantee and as a registered charity, the management of ECHC is governed by a Board of Directors who meet six times a year. The ECHC Chief Executive reports to the Directors on a regular basis.

Our services are funded by payments from Local Authorities, Supporting People, Housing Benefits, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) and self funded tenants.

Senior Support Worker

I really enjoy living here and doing different activities; this helps me feel more self-assured and my confidence has improved over the years. I also like it that my family can visit me.
